2025 Pre-Season Update from Boris Stroud TLR84 Team Coordinator

Hi Folks,

Just thought I would update you all on how things are going at Team Laidlow Racing 84 headquarters.  I am sure that all the teams are busy preparing for the 2025 race season whether that be for the British Sidecar Championship, the Superside FIM World Sidecar Championship, the IOM TT, etc.  TLR84 is no different.  2025 will see TLR84 defending their 2024 British Sidecar Championship title as well as making a run for the top seat of the Superside FIM World Sidecar Championship.

TLR84’s workshop is in full flow with the set up and configuring of TLR84’s brand new ARS.  Team Laidlow Racing 84 are keen to continue the pre-race season prep and pre-season testing which will take place on various tracks.  Stay posted for updates of great things to come, there are lots of jobs to get done.   

It’s all still sinking in.  Rest assure that Sam, Jack and all team members at Team Laidlow Racing 84 are very grateful for all the support shown by their sponsors and fans during the 2024 race season, and for all those who have committed to continue that support for TLR84 in 2025.  TLR84 are excited to also welcome all the new sponsors who have joined TLR84’s list of prestigious sponsors who are committed to support TLR84 for the 2025 British Sidecar Championship and the 2025 Superside FIM World Sidecar Championship. I for one can guarantee that the 2025 race season will be a thrilling one indeed. 

With a slightly different structure, TLR84 now have what feels like a factory team. Many of the behind-the-scenes tasks and support have been taken on by their race partner.  This allows Sam and Jack to focus on driving their sidecar while the rest of TLR84 do their jobs that will make it all come together.

TLR84 has received international support from sponsors in Scotland, UK, EU and USA.  Sam and Jack have been surprised by all the support they have been given, and they sincerely look forward to training hard and shaking down the winter blues in an early testing program in 2025.  Once again thank you all for your support, sponsorship and fan based following.  We believe that 2025 will be a successful year with ASR, Pendragon Services Inc, Express Tyres, PWB Developments, KCP Ltd, Richard and Jane Butler, the Fife Family and Marin TM / Marin Motorsports firmly behind the team.  TLR84 is looking forward to proudly flying each of their sponsor’s banners.  We will continue to announce new sponsors as they come onboard.
