This was the finale of the British Sidecar Championship. Team Laidlow went into this race with a 1/2 point lead of the British Championship. They had to finish in front of sidecar No.95 in order for them to be crowned British Champions. What an exciting finish! This was an entertaining race from start to chequered flag!
